The Dumdom King

The first of many characters to be developed for a children’s book that I’m doing all of the illustrations for. The book was originally written by my Great Great Aunt over 120 years ago. The bust shown here is of the King of Dumdom. One of the characters in the first story titled “Of Laughter and Learning”.

I’ve literally been working on bits and pieces of this for years. It’s finally starting to all flow together and hopefully more will be coming soon and the first of seven stories can be published.
